Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Head of Data or Head of Data Platform, located in the South East. There is a requirement to attend the office a few times a month. The Head of will create the data strategy, design the architecture and then develop the solution. Working with multiple stakeholders across functions, you will analyse the technology as is and decide on the best solution to deliver business and data objectives. This is a greenfield opportunity building out the first data named function.
Requirements
- Expertise in Data Architecture, Data Engineering and data platforms/warehouses
- Proficiency in relevant and supporting technology/tools with hands on capability
- Strong experience in building data platforms/solutions from scratch or early stage build outs
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and strategic planning skills
- Knowledge of data governance
- Microsoft ecosystems including Databricks/Fabric
- Migration experience
